I’m Juan Leija

I'm a fitness professional with over 20 years of experience working with a wide range of individuals from professional athletes to stay-at-home moms.

With my unconventional fitness approach to strength and conditioning programming, I help you achieve undeniable results.

Building muscle is not just about looking good, it’s about elevating your fitness by becoming stronger, healthier and more confident so we can continue to do this for the long haul!!

YOUR PROGRAMMING

Unconventional Gym Athlete is the same programming I give professional athletes, but designed to be accessible to anyone. Every week, we’ll focus on 3 core components: mobility, strength, and conditioning.

Mobility

Every workout starts with a few minutes of mobility and CNS (Central Nervous System) prep. What you learn here will extend beyond the program - it’ll prime you for an active, injury-free life.

Strength

We’re going to get strong and build muscle mass. By leveraging 4+ days of training each week across multi-week cycles of progressive barbell and kettlebell training, we’ll make gains and keep it interesting.

Conditioning

No one wants to be ripped, but out of breath when they walk up the stairs. 2-3x a week we’ll work on low-intensity (Zone 2) and high-intensity conditioning, so you can smash that run, race, or ride.

YOUR COMMUNITY

With our private online community, 1-on-1 chats, weekly coaching calls, and quarterly meet ups, you’ll build relationships that hold you accountable and motivate you to grow.
